Today 8x12I kept things simple(and subtle), so the photo stands out. On this upload there's a watermark over the pic, it is being submitted to a magazine so, I had to. Sorry! The paper is DCVW, ribbon is Stampin' Up, and the patches are courtesy of my husband. I'll be using Xyrons EDS 8x12 page protector.
I love Monday holidays, don't you?
Nineteen down and only twelve to go. :0

ReplyDeleteI had to ask my DH what he was doing in this photo - muzzleloader? That's what he says!! Cool picture and layout!!
ReplyDeleteLove this and the pic is the coolest ever! Good luck with the mag submission! Oh, and great use of the patch. Did you laminate it?
ReplyDeleteGreat pic. What is he doing? It looks like he's blowing fire!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy DH was shooting a flint lock muzzleloader. When you pull the trigger, the hammer which holds a piece of flint falls and strikes a piece of metal which causes a spark in the pan. The spark ignites power (the flash by his face). The spark travels through a little hole to a larger powder charge in the barrel, which ignites more powder causing the bullet to be propelled (the flash out of the end of the barrel). This all happens very fast. This is where the saying cones from, like a flash in the pan. It's easier to explain in person.
ReplyDeleteI think we need to have a "flinter" lesson for everyone. :0) Shall we bring them to club next month?
ReplyDeleteOh, now that sounds like fun! Maybe we could even do a girls day out and shoot sometime. No better way to learn. :D
